OK, I opened my big mouth and said I would accept the challenge of building a guitar "...LIKE a 40's Harmony ..." acoustic. I found a Harmony Hawaiian guitar circa 1940's on www.retrofret.com. But, other than that I am coming up empty. Where to look? Any comprehensive books with history? Fortunately, I have 16 months to meet the delivery date - but, I'd appreciate any leads or information. Thanks. |

I would see if you could find some examples on ebay. American guitars by Tom wheeler has a few pages on Harmony. Never heard of a book on Harmony history. I do remember seeing a web site on harmony But I don't have a link. Tom |
